Dark Wing

This is a labour of love, based on the original splash image from 1989's 'Mechwarrior' on MS DOS, by Activision and Dynamix. It was also evidently an old cover of 'Shrapnel' magazine, but I'm not sure from what year. The original of both was the old Macross/Robotech 'unseen' Warhammer design. This one is the more recent resculpt by Anthony Scroggins. My painting here is a reimagining of that iconic image.
